ORDERS:
Q: How long will my order take to arrive?
A: The amount of time it will take to receive your order depends on your location. Washington and Oregon orders take 1-3 business days. Orders in the rest of the U.S. may take 4-7 business days. International orders may take up to 2 weeks to deliver.
Q: Can I exchange/return my order?
A: For any returns or exchanges, please email yewskateboards@gmail.com. We will make sure any exchange or return is hassle free.
Q: Will I be able to track my order?
A: Yes. We provide tracking numbers with a confirmation of shipment in an email.
Q: Is there a way to update my order after I place it?
A: Changes to your order cannot be made once it has been fulfilled and shipped. Please double check your information before your order is finalized.
PRODUCTS:
Q: When are new graphics coming out?
A: Follow us everywhere @yewskateboards and stay up to date. You can also email us at any time for updates on new releases.
Q: When are new clothes coming out?
A: We drop clothes randomly and they sell quickly. Stay ahead of the game and follow us for updates.
PURCHASES:
Q: What kind of payment do you accept?
A: All forms of payment are accepted at Yew Skateboards.
Q: Do you do refunds if there is a problem with a purchase?
A: Yes, we do refunds if we are contacted about an issue and analyze that the issue was a mistake.
SPONSORSHIP:
Q: Are yew sponsoring?
A: We are always looking for new and exciting talent to build a Yew Skateboards team. Send street footage to yewskateboards@gmail.com
Q: How do I get sponsored?
A: We take every aspect into consideration; whether that’s style, trick selection, way the video is filmed, etc. We will review footage before we make any decisions.
Q: What do you do when you’re sponsored?
A: Team riders would are responsible for producing content – videos, photos, posts, etc. We like riders with consistency and riders that produce new and creative content. Have fun with it. Skateboarding is fun.
Q: How much footage do we send?
A: Time is just a number. We would love to see it all.
Q: What kind of content do you guys want?
A: When a sponsor me video is sent in, we promote strictly street footage. It’s interesting and rad to see skateboarding in the streets other than cookie cutter skateparks.
ABOUT YEW:
Q: How did Yew Start?
A: Noah Moncrieff and his father started Yew Skateboards back in 2013.
Q: What does Yew mean?
A: “Yew” is a term used to celebrate someone landing a trick. Look It up in the urban dictionary. Do it.
Q: How many people work at Yew Skateboards?
A: Currently, Yew Skateboards has 1 employee who is the CEO, owner, CFO, marketing department, shipping department, warehouse manager, operations manager, janitor, accountant, web designer, social media manager, marketing specialist, and sales associate. Again, 1 employee.
Q: Who is on the team?
A: The team is currently in the works, but they know who they are ;)
Q: What’s Yew Skateboards’ favorite skate video and why?
A: Our favorite video is a tie between Pretty Sweet and The Bones Brigade Video Show because we grew up with both and both inspired our skateboarding thoroughly.
RANDOM:
Q: What do I do if my local skateshop does not carry Yew?
A: Skate to your local skateshop, politely walk in and ask if they may be interested in carrying Yew Skateboards :)
Q: Do you guys ever do any promotions or sales?
A: Pretty much every holiday we hold sales. Watch out for posts and email blasts if you’re signed up on our email list for any word on sales and promos. We give out very friendly discounts.
Q: Are you hiring?
A: As much as we would love (and need) some help with different departments, we are not hiring at the moment. Sorry.
Q: Does Yew have internship opportunities?
A: At this moment in time, we can only support an unpaid internship. It would also have to be thoroughly reviewed. Email us.
Q: Is there a physical Yew location?
A: No, we don’t know if there ever will be one. We highly support supplying skateshops and people snagging boards there. Keep it local and support your local.
Q: What kind of camera do you guys use?
A: We have both an SD and HD camera.
Q: How do you edit videos?
A: We use Adobe Premiere Pro. Sometimes iMovie.
Q: Is there ever going to be a Yew Skateboards full-length video?
A: The answer to this is yes. It is officially in the works and it will be all filmed on a Sony VX1000
Q: Where can I find your boards?
A: Check out our Find Yew page for info on what shops carry our product. You can also see our Store page for our very own webstore.
Q: Do you guys do collaborations with companies?
A: Yes we do, we have only sponsored events so far (not really a collab) but we would be all ears for a potential collaboration with another brand.
Q: Is there a Yew warehouse?
A: Technically… yes? Does an apartment living room count?
Q: Where do you see Yew in 5 years?
A: We will be on TV, radio, and billboards, everywhere. Mark our words.
Q: Do stickers come with orders?
A: It’s hard to keep stickers in stock because the minute we get them, they sell out or we give them all away. They go fast. To answer the question, yes, when they are available, yes.
Q: Where do you get your graphic art?
A: Artwork is done by ourselves, along with many of our friends. Sometimes we reach out to them about their art, or they have reached out to us.
Q: I live on the East Coast. Is there any way to get cheaper shipping rates for orders?
A: Unfortunately, we don’t get to make the call on shipping rates. We have a flat fee. But, if you reach out to your local shop about carrying Yew Skateboards products then you will definitely be saving on shipping.
